No! There are several different types of natural stone and each one is different. The chemistry and composition of natural stone need to be kept in mind when trying to clean it. If you have a natural stone countertop, depending on the type, it may or may not need to be sealed. Each type may need a different kind of cleaner. That’s why hiring a professional is a good idea.
I want to try to clean my stone countertop myself, what do I use for stains?
You can try and find cleaners for your specific natural stone, which could be costly, or you could simply use a little dish detergent and warm water. However, your countertops won’t keep that bright shiny luster forever. That spill that didn’t get cleaned up immediately which caused that stain beside the sink?
